By TALON GUTIERREZ and BILL SIEGELAssociated PressIn a move that’s set to cause some confusion, Walmart and Ulta announced Monday that they’re offering a $20 discount off their signature Ulta Card, which has the word “Ulta” emblazoned on it.
The card is an annual membership, which costs $100 and is valid for up to 12 months.
It comes with access to a selection of over 200 different brands, as well as access to special offers.
It can also be used to get free shipping on purchases of $200 or more.
In addition, the discount is valid through Oct. 31.
Walmart says that it is only valid in stores and online, so be sure to shop around.
Ulta says it will give the coupon to customers who buy the card at least once in their first year of membership.
The company says that anyone can apply for the coupon, and it will only be valid for the first year.
The store is offering a 10% discount on purchases from Nov. 1 through Jan. 31, and an additional 5% off on purchases after that.
